Obituary of Martina - Hernandez

A memorial service will be held Thursday,9/22/2019 at 2:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gridley for Martina Hernandez, 87, who died on Saturday, 9/17/2016 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born 1/29/1929 in Texas to Dolores and Martha Molina. She was a long time of Butte Co. and the Gridley area. Martina was preceded in death by her husband, Raul Hernandez and 8 of her siblings. She is survived her daughters, Virginia Hernandez of Chico, CA, Linda Hernandez of Gridley, CA, Clara Calloway (Buster) of Biggs, CA., God-daughter, Raquel Reyna-Solis of San Jose, CA. and numerous nieces and nephews. Martina enjoyed cooking and would cook for anyone she could. She also enjoyed embroidering and embroidered hundreds of pillow cases for others to enjoy. She was very fond of flowers and gardening.
