Obituary of Barbara Jean Brazil

Barbara Jean (Harper) Brazil was born August 24, 1929 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada to Marie Nebel and John Blake Harper. She passed away peacefully surrounded by love & angels on January 17, 2024.

Barbara was the middle child of four siblings, Ann Finkelman, John Harper, and Mary Paul. Barbara is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Maurice J. Brazil, who she met on a blind date New Years Eve. They were married July 2, 1955. She is survived by their four children: Laura Morales Dolan, Michael Brazil, Maureen Pickard, and Kathleen Brazil. Eleven grandchildren: Theresa, Michael, Kimberley, Heather, Shawn, Nicholas, Ashley, Kevin, Rose, Sage, & Iris, and their eleven (& counting) great-grandchildren: Tyler, Ryan, Tommy, Nathan, Dean, Hudson, Madison, Preslie, Jaylie, Jade & Jack.

Barbara was kind to everyone she met and deeply loved by her family. She enjoyed stamp collecting, antiques, flea marketing, architecture & genealogy. The love she shared with her family will live forever. 

She would often say "If it's meant to be it will be." A private Celebration of her life will be held in the Spring.
