Obituary of Devin Corey Andrews, I
Devin was a generous, caring man who would do anything to help anyone in need. No job was too small or dirty, he fixed cars, mowed lawns and literally dug ditches. In his prime Devin was a skilled and able laborer with the Laborers Local Union 185. He worked for a construction engineering company laying water and septic pipe. This job allowed Devin to travel which he loved.
Devin also loved nature and planted trees wherever he lived. He had a passion for muscle cars and loved to drive. His prized possession was his classic Satellite Seabring which he had kept since he was 16.
Devin's true love was his family. His son was his pride and joy, to whom he passed on a talent for drawing.
Devin is preceded in death by his twin sister Devina Cherie Andrews, and his mother and father, Melba Ellen McCauley and Howard Everett Andrews.
Devin leaves behind his only child, Devin Corey Andrews II, and Devin's mother, Jennette Hulda Andrews. His sister Charlene K. Zarate-Andrade of Sacramento, nephews Harold J. Brown of Reno, NV, Hector Aguire of Chico, and Fernando Aguirre of Gridley, as well as his niece Maria Zia Negra of Gridley. There are also numerous friends and chosen family who will miss him dearly.
Plans for a celebration of Devin's life are in the making and will be announced at a later date.
