Obituary of Virginia Alcantar

Virginia Alcantar, 102, of Live Oak, CA passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024.

Virginia was born July 10, 1921 in Uriangato, Guanajuato, Mexico. She was a lifelong resident of Live Oak. 

She enjoyed watching soccer games, going to the casino and making homemade flour tortillas for her grandchildren. She also enjoyed attending church at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Live Oak. 

She is preceded in death by her Husband, Francisco Alcantar and her son, Leonel Alcantar. 

A viewing will be held on Monday, January 22, 2024 from 4:00-6:00pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Live Oak. A rosary will follow at 6:00pm. 

A mass of Catholic burial will be held Tuesday, January 23rd at 10:00am at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Live Oak. Burial to follow at Live Oak Cemetery.
