Obituary of Wilma Pauline Gowen

Wilma Pauline Gowen, 94 years, of Oroville, passed away on Friday January 5, 2024 peacefully at her residence.

She was born on Sunday, September 8, 1929 in Millspring, Missouri, the daughter of the late Richard Mahalia (née Boatwright) Foster.

Wilma married James Benjamin Gowen on September 28th, 1945 in Piedmont, Missouri and they celebrated 74 years of marriage before his death in January of 2020.

Wilma worked at 'The Cannery' aka Pacific Coast Producers, for 50 years, and she was #1 when she retired.

They are survivived by their sons; Jimmy (Beverly) Gowen, Micheal (Sue) Gowen, both of Oroville, California. Their daughters; Jeanice Dugger of Branson West, Missouri, and Janet Stone of Bassett, Virginia.  As well as 6 Grand children, and 9 great grandchildren.
