Obituary of Bettie Sue Hottle Bangs
Bettie Sue passed away while at home on Tuesday, December 12, 2023. She was born in Stilwell, Oklahoma on December 15, 1942 to William and Mary Points. Their family moved to Oroville in 1945. Bettie Sue graduated from Oroville High in 1961. She worked as a bank teller for over thirty five years at Midvalley Savings and Loan, Great Western and Washington Mutual, just to name a few. Bettie married her high school sweetheart, Raymond G. Hottle. They had two daughters, Shawnie (Frank Bushnell) and Melissa (Ruben Reynoso). She had four grandchildren, Hannah and Grace Reynoso, Emilie Raye and Carson Bushnell. After Ray's passing, Bettie married Ronald Bangs.
Bettie is survived by a loving church family and a lifetime of friendships with several cherished friends, nieces Michelle and Leslie, and many wonderful cousins. She also had dozens of honorary grandchildren who affectionately called her "Nana Bettie"
