Obituary of Gregory Ray Finley

Gregory Ray Finley, was welcomed into heaven by our LORD on November 7, 2023.

He is preceded in death by his father, Ray Finley and mother, Gwendolyn Finley.

He is survived by his daughters, Christina Finley, Leia Finley, Amanda Finley Gonzalez, and Maureen Finley Hornyak; 2 grandsons, 4 granddaughters, 2 great-grandchildren, and his brother, Glen.

Greg was born in Los Angeles, CA, and raised in Yucaipa, CA, graduating from Yucaipa High School in 1967. In 1979, Greg moved to Chico, CA, and lived in the north state for the remainder of his life, calling Gridley, CA, his home for the last 10 years.

Greg had many interests including but not limited to photography, fast cars, his beloved pet birds, history and the ocean. As a young man he was active in DeMolay and the school choir. His children cherish the fond memories of vacations at the coast with their father and will miss him dearly.

A memorial service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church in Gridley, CA, on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at 11:00 am.
