Obituary of Alvin Lee Frank
Alvin Lee Frank, most commonly known as Lee, was born March 30th 1934 in Oakland, CA to Alvin and Lorena Frank. Lee passed away on November 11th 2023 in Oroville, CA. Lee belonged to the Carpenters Union and served in the U.S Army in Germany. He met his wife in Japan while on vacation and soon retired and settled back in Oroville thirty three years ago. Lee was passionate about football; especially the 49ers! He has always been very artistic and is known in Oroville for many of the murals around town. Some are gone now, but he loved them all and the history behind the pictures. Lee played for the Yuba College 1955 Championship Football Team and was honored in the Yuba College Athletic Hall of Fame in 2000 as well as the Northern California Sports Hall of Fame in 2001.
Lee is survived by his loving wife of thirty three years, Terumi Umeda Frank. His two daughters, Lea Ann Frank Kloepping of Texas and Jeri Lynn Frank Acker of California. Two sons, Robert Frank of Massachusetts and Geoffrey Frank of California. Grandchildren, Alicia Robles, David Daniels, Adrienne Faulconer, Mike and Don Acker. Great grandchildren, Wesley and Clayton Faulconer, Tilly Robles, Lucille Robles, Beau Daniels, Gracelyn Acker, Theodosia Acker. Brother Jon David Frank and sister, Nancy Frank Gilbert both of California.
His family will be celebrating his life privately.
