RIP Marty. It’s been quite a few years since we saw you last. All the card games played at my apartment in Daly city and at Ralph’s house and your house in San Bruno. Don’t forget artichoke Joe’s. I remember vaguely when I first met you after high school. I thought this guy is really cool. At first, you seemed more worldly than us, maybe it was because you were a couple years older than us. You had a lot of expressions that remind me of a jazz musician. Our New Year’s parties wouldn’t have been complete without you. I remember when you painted our house in Pacifica with a color much darker than I thought it would be, it was a windy day and you were spraying the eaves with it. It was supposed to be plum but it was more like purple and the wind blew it all over your face. You came in the house with a purple face and Laura laughed. Well, wherever you may be I’m sure you’re dealing and you’ve got an Ace for your whole card. Our condolences to Ruth and your family,
