Obituary of William Russell Small

William Russell Small, 89, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2023.

William, "Bill" was born November 27, 1933 to William H. and Clara Small in Weed, Ca. Bill served in the United States Army from 1956 to 1958 as a Military Policeman. He was a member of the Butte County Sheriff's Mounted Posse. In 1993 he was awarded a plaque for twenty years of dedicated service and again in 1994 for his hard work and dedication to Butte County. He worked for the Western-Union Pacific Railroad as a brakeman until his retirement. Bill was a skilled horseman and wood crafter. Bill enjoyed making everything from furniture to small children's toys. He will be greatly missed. 

As per Bill's request there will not be a Memorial Service.
