Obituary of Sandra Irene Burgess
Sandra Irene Burgess, 82, born March 26th, 1941 and passed away September 30th, 2023.
Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Sandra Irene Baker was born to Roy Lee and Eliza Baker on March 26, 1941 in Marysville Hospital in Yuba County, California. She spent her childhood and teenage years in Hallwood with her five brothers and one sister. In 1958 she met Thomas Burgess on a blind date and told her mother that she had met the man she was going to marry. She was right; they were married in 1963 at the Nazarene Church in Hallwood and she became Sandra Irene Burgess. They spent 60 wonderful years together and have three children and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She always had a smile on her face for everyone she met. She was always willing to help her family and friends. She loved her books and her LA Dodgers Baseball. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Her faith was strong, and God has welcomed her into Heaven where she is with her family and friends who went before her.
Sandra is survived by her husband of more than 60 years Thomas Burgess, her twin sons Thomas and Tobby, her daughter Shelley, her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
