Obituary of Richard Allan McClish
Richard Allan McClish, 61, born June 29th, 1962 and passed away August 13th, 2023.
Richard Allan McClish was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas to the late Hubert Thomas McClish and Nancy Poole, on June 29, 1962.
He leaves behind his wife Marianne McClish of 13 years, and two sisters Donna McClish Calimee and Rochelle Rochelle, as well as his stepsister Irene Porter and three brothers, Stanley Nelson, Kenneth McClish and Rodney Thomas. His three children, Johnnie McClish, Richard McClish, and Keisha McClish, two step children CJ and Tiandra Jones. His four Grandchildren, Johnnie and Richard McClish Jr., Karter Gooden and DeAnthony McClish. Three nieces LaDonna Fister Rodnesha and Shauntae Thomas McClish. Three nephews Alonzo Calimee, Rodney and Roderick Thomas McClish, four great nieces and one great great nephew and a very good close friend Kampy Khampsaly(IP) and a host of family and friends. He was good with kids and loved them all and his family.
He is preceded in death by LaMeisha Finster and Hubert Calimee. They are guardians over seven of his great nieces and nephews Shountania, Dakari McClish Kevin, Keyair A Morris Juniya, Barron, Kiasijah and Alleena Givens.
He joined Paradise Baptist church and gave his life to Christ under leadership of Pastor Alonzo G. Morris. Richard loved working on and fixing cars, and he loved to go out fishing with his friends. He loved Dancing and his 'oldies but goodies' music. His favorite team was The Raiders, as he used to say "Battle of the Bay!" The day he left us, he was watching them beat my team the 49ers (beginning of the season you got that win). His favorite dish was cabbage, fried chicken and cornbread. That was his Sunday dinner and he loved him some fish. We used to have cook offs, and he just knew his chili was the best. Let us also not forget his Peanut Butter Cookies and his famous Peach Cobbler. He had to put his Culinary skills to use he went to school for It! He graduated from Castle Mont High School in 1981 he lived in Oakland, Ca. for years, and then moved to Sacramento, Ca. for years until he settled down in 2010 with Marianne Phillips-McClish and made her his wife, until his untimely death. He had been employed over the years at Sutter Hospital nutrition, MK Auto, and Fed Ex.
He gave a long and hard fight, I love you my love, Always and Forever!!!!
