Obituary of Richard Lawrence Bill, Jr.

Richard “Bosco” Bill, 81, of Gridley, CA, passed away August 4, 2023. He was born December 15, 1941, in Alameda, CA. Richard was a devout Roman Catholic and parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He loved golfing atTable Mountain Golf Course, as well as working in his walnut orchard. Richard was a very loving and generous person. He enjoyed the little things in life such as going to the annual Butte County Fair, Bishop’s Pumpkin Patch, and cheering on the Gridley High School baseball team.

He is survived by his brothers, Guy Bill and Jon Bill; sister, Jackie Smith; 8 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Patricia and Richard Bill; sister, Diane Wells.

Services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gridley, CA on Monday, August 14, 2023, at 12:00 pm with a Rosary being said at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Sacred Heart CatholicChurch, or any Catholic affiliated charity.
