Obituary of Gina Antoinette Brock

Gina Antoinette Brock, beloved wife, daughter and friend passed away on Monday, August 7, 2023. She was in her home, filled with family and loved ones as she would have wanted.

Gina was a hardworking, generous woman who loved and cared for her people fiercely. She had manicurist training as evidenced by her gorgeous, well-tended fingernails; but, she worked as a caregiver for the elderly and disabled until her retirement. Gina loved to grow and tend her houseplants, and always had dozens thriving.

Gina is survived by her husband, Richard Brock, of 32 years. She also leaves behind numerous lifelong friends, and the many children that she helped raise, and support, well into their adulthood. The next generation of those children considered her aunt and grandmother. Gina was preceded in death by her parents, James Louis Thorup, and Antoinette Cornelison.

There will be a celebration of life in her home on Friday, August 18, 2023, and a viewing at Ramsey Funeral Home the same day. Mourners are welcome to gather at the family home, at 2:00 p.m. in preparation for the viewing which will take place at 3:00 p.m. Afterwards, we will return home for the celebration of life, with food, family and lots of loving memories
