Obituary of Marcus Benjamin Thompson
Marcus Beniamin Thompson, 36, was born in Paradise California on July 16th, 1987 and passed away on July 26th, 2023 in Oroville California. The youngest of three children. He was born into a faithful Oakland Raiders Football family but somehow became a Detroit Lions fan, even though his mother got her inspiration for his name from her favorite player Marcus Allen. He grew up playing baseball, he loved swimming and riding the Honda 50 mini bike he and his brother had. After receiving his diploma he worked as a truck driver and as an apprentice mason. He then decided to join the Army and became an MP. He was stationed at Ford Hood in Texas. After his honorable discharge he came back home to Paradise and He and Kylee soon had twins on the way. Ava and Urijah were the loves of his life. He loved being a dad. He was also a dad to Kylee's son Camden whom he claimed as his own. The next love of his life was his American bulldog Indy. They were inseparable. After the camp fire in Paradise in 2018 his parents and his brother and family relocated to Oroville and He came too. His best friend John came also. He was very close to his sister, brother and parents.
Marcus also had a very large extended family including his grandparents and many aunts, uncles and cousins who gathered together frequently.
A Memorial Service will be held at The Eagles Hall in Oroville on August 26th at 1:00 pm, 2010 Montgomery St, Oroville, CA 95965.
