Obituary of Paul Wayne Volasgis

Paul Wayne Volasgis, 66 years, of Oroville, passed away on Friday June 30, 2023.

Born in Oakland in May of 1957 to Frank and Vera Volasgis, he went on to graduate from high school, and then obtained his Bachelors Degree with a double major in Business and used that degree to work in Banking for the next 30 years.

In December of 1978, he married his beautiful wife Kathy, and together they raised their children Shirline and Faline. He volunteered often with Gethsemane Baptist Church in San Fransisco.

He and Kathy went on to make their home Oroville for the last decade, where he enjoyed fishing and gardening, as well as preaching the Word of God.

He is predeceased by his mother and father, and he is survived by his wife Kathy, their children Shirline and Faline, his grandchildren, Clarissa, Tyrese, and Annahi, his siblings Frank, Joyce, Greg, Vincent, Brenda, and Claudia, his sister-in-laws, Elma and Cheryl as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He will be deeply missed.  His family has chosen to celebrate his life privately.  Arrangements are entrusted to Oroville Funeral Home (530)533-0323
