Obituary of Alan Talburt
Alan Talburt, 75, of Oroville passed away June 29th 2023. He read his bible daily. Other than God, his wife and kids, he loved fishing. He liked watching basketball, football and game shows on TV. He served in the Army during Vietnam. He worked in high-rise construction alongside his father Emmett before he began laying carpet in Orange County. He laid carpet on all the major movie sets and was asked to be an extra on the original Pirates of the Caribbean, which of course he declined. He was a man of few words and incredibly kind and mellow.
I know that when Peter and Jesus open that pearly gate you will be standing there holding your hand out to draw me over and once again, never taking your beautiful brown eyes off of me.
