Obituary of Dianne K Mckeehan

Her legacy …. Dianne Kaye McKeehan was born on April 18, 1946 in Chico, CA to Floyd and Florence Sanders. Dianne married her best friend, Russell McKeehan in 1967, and together they had two wonderful sons. Becoming a mom was her greatest joy. She never missed a game and was always there to support her boys, and their friends. She was a mom to all of their friends, as well as to the foreign exchange students that she hosted during their High School years. Her door was always open whether they needed a friend to talk to, a bite to eat or a place to stay. This continued when she became a grandma. Whether it was cooking lunch for the LP football team on game day, or watching a movie and making sugar cookies with the girls, she was always happy to have a house full of grandkids. Dianne worked the front office for Oroville podiatrists, Calvin Layland and Dennis Trenner for 35 years, which she truly enjoyed. But her biggest joy in life was spending time with her family. One of her favorite things to do was to relax and spend her summer days with her family on lake Oroville on their houseboat. She also had decades of happy memories spent outside of Chester, CA at their family cabin. Her and Russ loved spending time with the boys there, and through the years she spent many cherished weekends with family and friends. Dianne was a diehard San Francisco Giants fan and rarely missed a game. She will be remembered by her family and friends as a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandma, and great grandma - a woman who loved well and was well loved. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Her Family… Dianne is survived by two sons; Jeff McKeehan and Brad (Christie) McKeehan, both of Oroville CA; Her sister Sharon Thon of Redding, CA; Her five grandchildren; Kyra (Scott) Loucks, Jeffery McKeehan, Kayla McKeehan, Mackenzie McKeehan and Karli McKeehan all from Oroville, CA; Her 2 great grandsons, Mason Loucks and Hudson Loucks of Oroville, CA.She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Russ Mckeehan.

Her Farewell service… A Graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at 10 AM at Memorial Park Cemetery 5646 Lincoln Blvd. Oroville, CA 95966.
