Obituary of Edward Joseph Nieto

His Legacy… Edward Joseph Nieto was born on April 9, 1946, in Marysville, California to Edward and Elaine Nieto. Edward passed away on August 14th, 2016, in his home town of Oroville, California. Ed met his wife Kathy of 48 years in their kindergarten class. They graduated High school in 1964, and were married November 25th, 1967. Their life was devoted to raising their two sons. The majority of Ed’s career was specializing in custom pools; cement work, and excavating as a licensed contractor d.b.a. North Valley Contracting. In 2008, Ed joined the Thermalito Water Sewer District team that he considered family. Ed enjoyed spending time with his family and many friends. He was loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure. His Family… Edward is preceded in death by his father Edward Nieto and his brother Michael Nieto. He is survived by his mother Elaine Nieto of Oroville, CA, wife Kathy Nieto of Oroville, CA, his brother Gerry Nieto (Sandy) of Waldport, OR, sons Nicholas Nieto, and Ryan Nieto (Alicia) of Oroville CA, granddaughter Skylar, and many nieces and nephews. His Farewell Service… A viewing will be held from 4-8 PM on Tuesday, August 23rd, at the Ramsey Funeral Home 1175 Robinson St. Oroville, Ca. His memorial service will be held Wednesday, August 24th, at 10:30 am at the Oroville Church of the Nazarene 2238 Monte Vista Ave. Oroville, CA.
