My grandmother. The piece of my father. Words can’t explain the love I have for you. I wish we could have spent more time together but the time we did have together will live forever in my memories. I will forever hold them close. This picture is the last time I got to see you and the first time my kids got to meet you which meant so much to me. I will always remember the times I would come to visit and you would hug me, hold my hand and just stare at each other and smile because we are parts of my father we needed. I love you grandma. Rest in paradise.

My sister Nancy got married when I was 12 years old. They lived in San Diego until they moved to Texas around 1961. I went with her husband Joe to help with the kids & then took a bus back to San Diego. I also cared for Pam when she was first born & enjoyed every minute. I had seen Nancy a few times when we visited California and one time in Feather Falls. We also were together in Iowa for our sister kay's husband funeral. Our father Casey had 5 children with his first wife and 5 children with our mother Velma. One child was still born. Although we didn't have the opportunity to spend time together as we became adults, I thought of her and her family very often. We did have something in common as we both lost children, my daughter passed in 2018 at the age of 41. We have 3 grandsons & two grand daughters that live in Bentonville, Ar where we live & our son & his wife too. We have been married 57 years. I served in the Air Force like my brother Roy did. Our brother Roy passed in 1998 and sister Kay in 2019. I am the last of the ten children. Just wanted to give a little history of our family. We will be praying for Nancy's family as you go through this mourning time. With much love to Nancy's family, Stan & Phyllis Robinson

Nancy was the mother, auntie, best friend to every parent and child that walked through the doors at Feather Falls Elementary School. She traveled the world, brave and yearning for more knowledge. She was my mentor, confidante, best friend and Maid of Honor. She was beautiful, kind, gentle inside and out. We miss you. Elaine and family
