Obituary of Kenneth Eugene Medford

Kenneth Eugene Medford passed away Saturday, March 4, 2023. Born in Pocasset, Oklahoma on March 29, 1935 to William Marshall and Marie Langley Medford.  He was raised with his two sisters Kathy and Genieva. He graduated from Oroville High School in 1954.   He married his wife Lurline in 1967.  

As a young man he lived and worked in Feather Falls in the lumber industry.  For many years he worked for his brother-in-law (Melton and Melton Construction) and Louisiana Pacific.  In 1984 he started his own construction company, Medford and Huston Construction, where he was partners with his son-in-law. He loved working in his shop building, repairing and restoring anything made of wood.  He also loved hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife Lurline, children Ricky Medford (Shelly), Tony Medford, Lisa Huston (Rick) and Shelley Diane, seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, April 2, 2023 at 1:00 PM at the Eagles Hall, 2010 Montgomery Street, Oroville, CA.  Arrangements are entrusted to Ramsey Funeral Home (530) 534-3877.
