Obituary of Luis G. Ceja

Luis Ceja of Gridley, CA passed away on March 5, 2023 at the age of 83. 

Luis was born on August 23, 1939 to Luis Ceja Sr and Maria De Jesus Gil in Venustiano Carranza, Michoacan.  Luis worked for Kimura Farms for 26 years and helped other local farmers when needed.

After retirement, he enjoyed gardening, chauffeuring his granddaughters to school and spending time with family. Luis was predeceased by his daughter, Sylvia A.  Ceja. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Juana Ceja, their children, Luis A. Ceja, Patricia Ruiz (Octavio), Rosa Ceja-Manzo (Humberto) and Jose Ceja.  As well as grandchildren, Ciara Manzo, Luis & Melissa Manzo, Arianna Manzo, Miguel Ruiz, Julia Ruiz, Briana Ceja, Alexis Ceja, Erika Ceja, Isabella Ceja, Jose Luis Ceja, Alejandro Ceja, great- granddaughter, Olivia Perez-Manzo and his brother Jesus Ceja (Carlota).   

Services will be held at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gidley, CA on March 16, 2023 with a rosary and mass at 11:00am.
