Obituary of Phyllis June Alexander

Her Legacy… Phyllis June Alexander was born November 25, 1949 in Duncan, Oklahoma to James & Roma Russell. Phyllis passed on to Heaven on August 2, 2016. She grew up in Oklahoma where she developed some of her Okie tendencies that we were all very fond of. In her early teens her parents made the move to Glendale, California for a change of pace. In high school she got an after school job at a hardware store -that woman knew her way around tool box! When she went onto college she joined a bowling club & that's where she met the love of her life Robert Alexander. They married June 26, 1971 & spent 39 happy years together. They continued Robert's parents family business of boat tops & classic car upholstery in Los Angeles, California. They raised two children Stacey and Edward who were provided a loving home and wonderful memories. After 35 years they retired and moved to Oroville, California where Phyllis enjoyed sewing, wine tasting, shopping, traveling, animals, and most of all spending time with her family and friends. She will be remembered as a loving and generous mother, wife, grandmother, sister, aunt, and dear friend. We are so grateful for our time spent with her, that cheerful smile and her love will be missed so very much but never forgotten. We love you and will be reunited again one day... Her Family… Phyllis was reunited with her husband Robert in Heaven. She is survived by her daughter Stacey Alexander-Blevins and son Edward Alexander, both of Oroville CA. Along with her grandchildren, sisters, nieces & nephews, and special family friends. All of whom will miss her greatly. Her Farewell Service…With family and close friends we will say goodbye to her earthly body as her soul soars in Heaven. The date is to be determined.
