Obituary of Laila Ann Bolt

Her Legacy… Laila Ann Bolt was born on November 19, 1926 in Oakland, California to Vivian L. DeLapp and Charles F. Daley. Laila passed away at her home with her loving family at her side on July 22, 2016 in Oroville, California. Laila married the love of her life Carl Bolt on October 24, 1948 in Vallejo, California and the spent the next 68 years making a life together and raising their family. She was a member of the Trinity Presbyterian Church where she sang in the choir, she also was the Co-Founder and Docent at Bolt’s Antique Tool Museum. She enjoyed swimming at the Oroville Sports Club, playing cards & games, traveling on motorcycles with family and travel trailer. She also loved her cats Bambi & Chloe. Laila will be deeply missed by her family and friends but never forgotten. Her Family… Laila is survived by her loving husband of 68 years Carl S. Bolt of Oroville, CA; her son’s Mike (Sandy) Bolt of Oroville, CA; Steve (Cindy) Bolt of Oroville, CA; Dave Bolt of Oroville, CA; her daughter Patty Bolt (Mark) Wright of Elk Grove, CA; her grandchildren, Stacy Bolt, Kevin Bolt, Alex Bolt, Elias Olmos, Daniel Bolt, Justin Wright, Erin Abby Wright, Shelby Wright, Serina Brooks, Her brother Jim (Donna) Daley of Yountville, CA; along with three generations of nieces, nephews and cousins who loved her dearly, and two spoiled cats Bambi and Chloe. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Eleanor Daley. Her Farewell Service…A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 10:30 AM at Trinity Presbyterian Church 2350 Foothill Blvd. Oroville, CA. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to Bolt’s Antique Tool Museum Endowment Fund or Trinity Presbyterian Church. Arrangements are entrusted to Ramsey Funeral Home 530-534-3877.
