She is preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Nettie Nelson; her brothers; Doug and Jim Nelson, her husband; Henry Lee Billington, her Son-in-Laws; Bill Allen and Harold Harrison, and Grandson Tommy Prothero.

She is survived by her Brother Jackie Nelson, Step-Daughters; Phyllis Allen and Paula Harrison; her Daughters, Lela Grabil (Husband:Tim), Sandy Figueria (Husband: Louis), Jayne Prothero (Husband: Gary) , Karren Billington, and son, Al Billington (Wife: Debbie). Also, survived by (16) Grandchildren, (24) Great Grandchildren, and (8) Great-Great Grandchildren.

Barbara was born to Clyde and Nettie Nelson on January 2, 1935, in Altus Oklahoma. Barbara moved to San Pedro, California; where she later met her future husband Henry Billington. In June of 1951, they married in San Pedro, California. For the next 20+ years, she was an Army wife, living in Maryland, Kentucky, Virginia, California, Kanas, and Germany: during her husband’s military service. They moved to Nipomo California in February 1964 and later moved to Oroville California in 1977.

Barbara had a good life, she enjoyed traveling the country on her own motorcycle throughout the United States and Canada. Barbara especially love to host both family and guest events. Barbara attended the Christian Faith Center, were she enjoyed fellowship with believers in Christ. She was a Home Maker, but enjoyed collecting antiques, and craft making.

Barbara would want all of us to remember her with a smile rather than tears. She would want us to find comfort in knowing she is free from pain and home with her Heavenly Father (What a view she has).
