I had the pleasure of meeting Emily when she was just three years old. Our first conversation I will never forget. I told her "you're so cute" and in her sweetest most confident little voice she said "I know". I knew then that she was going to forever change my life. I've had the privilege to help raise her since then. Emily was always the one to cheer you up if you were sad or build your confidence if you felt "ugly". If there were babies or children around her she would be the first to protect them and love them. She was the brightest light on the darkest of days. Rest easy my sweet girl. I will miss her every second of every day and love her always. If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever!

Q: What was one of your favorite qualities of Emily?
A: Emily was as sweet as they come, she loved everybody without hesitation. We still remember the day we stopped by and brought presents to her, Lane and Bryson. She said Great Aunt Penny you and Great Uncle Jim brought us each a present? Its not our Birthdays. We said well, presents are not just for Birthdays or Christmas. Sometimes presents are just because. She said "Oh"!! She absolutely loved the Ragdoll we brought her because it had her name it.. She said Thank you so much for the doll, I will love and take care of it. Emily said since presents aren't just for Birthdays or Christmas could you come back tomorrow and bring me another present??? We laughed so hard we almost cried. Her sweet smile said it all. We will miss you always, but you will always be in our Hearts. Love Your Great Uncle Jim and Great Aunt Penny.
