Obituary of Rosalie Hensley

A Funeral Service will be held July 25, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Father’s House Chapel in Live Oak CA, for Rosalie Hensley, 82 of Live Oak. Rosalie was born August 7, 1933 in Black Gum Mountain, OK to Virgil and Effie (Taylor) Collins and passed away on July 19, 2016. Rosalie was a lifelong resident of Sutter County, living in Live Oak. She loved spending time with her family and friends, shopping, camping and traveling. Rosalie loved serving her community as a longtime member of the Victory Chapel Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett Hensley and son, Gary Hensley. Rosalie is survived by daughters, Brenda (Ed) Crockett of Tacoma, WA and Robin (Ty) Griffin of Live Oak, CA and sons, Dennis (Kathy) Hensley of Twin Falls, ID and Ron (Lorenda) Hensley. She was the loving grandmother to10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Viewing for Rosalie will be at the Father’s House from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. the day of the service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the Victory Chapel food bank and the Connie Collins-Zinn Memorial Scholarship Fund in care of Golden 1 Credit Union.
