Obituary of Erma Louise Rodgers

Erma Louise (Ross) Rodgers passed away of natural causes in Oroville, CA on Friday, November 18, 2022 at the age of 89. She was born on December 3,1932 in Mill Springs Missouri. 

Erma was a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived in life by her children John Brown, Vince Brown, and Jeff Brown. ten grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husbands William John Dewey Brown, David Rogers, and her daughter Loretta Brown. 

Erma was a resourceful, independent, creative woman, with a good sense of humor. She was an engaged and active member of Grace Baptist Church for most of her adult life, this became challenging through Covid and natural decline. She enjoyed traveling, baking, crafting and quilting. Erma made hosting family Holiday dinners look easy as she would have every burner on both ovens going. Erma had a special way with babies that was precious to watch. Her wisdom and love will grow through the lives she has touched, but she will be missed deeply. 

Memorial services for Erma will be held December 1, 2022 at 10:30am at Grace Baptist Church, 3646 Oro Dam Blvd. Oroville, CA 95966.
