Obituary of Joyce Lee Johnson

Joyce Lee Johnson was born to Harley and Jettie Matney on September 13, 1952 in Sturkie, Arkansas. The family moved to Oroville while she was a young child where she spent the majority of her life. She graduated from Las Plumas High school followed by a two year degree from Butte College. She was a proud Mother of two children Keith and Kristina. She loved her two children, but had a huge heart for her five grandchildren Miranda, Darrell, Audrey, and Alyssa Wood from Kristina. Mikayla Johnson from Keith. Joyce passed on July 9th 2016 at Mercy Medical Center in Roseburg, Oregon. She was on a Journey to be with her son in Everett, Wa when she instead took her final journey home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was preceded in death by her two parents Harley and Jettie, two sisters Barbara and Eva, and her brother Eddie. She is survived by her Sister Velma, her two children Keith and Kristina, and her five grandchildren Miranda, Darrell, Audrey, Mikayla, and Alyssa. Joyce is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins that she was very proud of. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Ramsey Funeral Home 1175 Robinson Street Oroville, California. Arrangements are entrusted to Ramsey Funeral Home 530-534-3877.
