Carolyn Jean Abeyta -Osby
Dec. 3, 1953 to Oct. 31, 2022. She was 68
Carolyn was born in Nebraska to Devout Catholic parents Raymond and Emma Abeyta. Carolyn lived many chapters in her life, she stayed in the Nebraska, Wyoming, Colorado area until the early 1980s, she loved to travel, settling in California. A Dedicated homemaker she raised two families in her lifetime. She was very silly and had a quick wit, she had a passion for music, loved animals and was an amazing Grandma.
Carolyn is survived by Danny Osby her husband of 30 years. And her Mother-in-law Virtis with whom she spent her final days.
Her Sister Theresa Nunes, several Nieces, Nephews cousins and extended family.
She has 4 daughters who love her and will miss her dearly, Tina Abeyta and son in-law Rich, Emily McCreary, Regina McCreary, and Danielle Osby.
She has 5 grandchildren who were truly the love of her life. Sherice Mizrahi, Joseph Douglas, Tee Tee Taylor and Teyanna Taylor plus little baby Mauricio Ray Hernandez
And 3 great-grandchildren Akanni Smith Knight Douglas and Sky Douglas.
She leaves behind extended family and many friends as well.
Carolyn is preceded in death by her loving parents, her sister Betty Jean Abeyta, several Aunts and Uncles, Her Father-in-law Herman Osby, Reggie "Hickory" McCreary, extended family and friends.
Memorial Service will be held at:
