I can't recall a time...that I asked John to lend me a hand...where he said "No"... He was ALWAYS ready to help out...regardless of the task... I remember reminding my Son to rake up all the crab apples by the walkway before dark. It was a tedious daily chore to keep the apples from tracking inside. Of course John was with him...Ace went to get the rake...but John didn't hesitate... he climbed up that tree...and shook the dickins out of it...:-) He maneuvered up and back down...shake, shake, shaking it...:-) until all the apples had fallen... I laughed so hard when he looked at my boy with a grin from ear to ear...and said... "Now you won't have to rake tomorrow" as he went to get the wheelbarrow...
His generous heart...and Little Boy grin will be missed by all who knew him.
Rest in Peace John...We love you♡
