I really enjoyed working in the same Avionics shop and living in the barracks and eating in the chow hall with Mark at HMX-1 in Quantico in the late 1980s. It was my first duty station and I learned a lot from Mark who was a corporal at the time. He was always "real." Nothing fake or pretend about him! Straightforward all the time. A really good dude!! I'm very sad that he has passed away so soon.
