Obituary of Vina Ruby Paul

Vina Ruby Paul (Panquin) entered into rest September 29, 2022, in Oroville California. She was born in Caribou Maine, where in 1953 she met and married Ernest D Paul Sr. They were married 61 years and spent 22 years in the Air Force.

They moved to, and retired in Oroville California in 1972, where they worked and ran the Oroville Chamber of Commerce. Both Vina and Ernie worked hard recruiting movies to come to Oroville. It was a special time for Oroville. The town was a destination for movies and stars. Her favorites she met were Clint Eastwood, Lee Marvin and Henry Fonda.

Vina was married on Christmas day, so it was a special celebration for the Family. She had a gift to decorate the most magical Christmas for her family. She could throw a party at the drop of a hat.

Vina will always be remembered for her love of flowers. She always seemed to be working outside in her yard creating an enchanting yard for all to enjoy.

Vina is proceeded in death by her husband Ernest Paul Sr., Son Chip, and Grandson Ben. Vina is survived by her daughters Valerie Kenney, Peggy Royer, her Son Lawrence Paul and his wife Dora. Her beloved nieces Mona, Delores, Evelyn, and Annie of Maine. She had 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Dear Mom, may your day lilies and nulled ladies bloom forever for all to enjoy. Rest in peace mammoo we all love you.
