Lillian Laura Kelley (Pattison)

Lillian was born on October 7, 1931, in Oroville, CA to Richard Pattison and Alva Marnell “Dolly” Grubbs.  Lillian passed away peacefully August 20, 2022 in Folsom, CA at the age of 90. 

Lillian spent most of her life living in Oroville, CA.  One of her first jobs was working the ticket booth at the Oroville State Theater.  Most of her working career, 35 years, was spent working at the Oroville Hospital, from where she retired.  Lillian also lived in Portola, CA and Camarillo, CA while growing up.  She was an active life member of the Delta Upsilon chapter of the Sigma Phi Gamma International Sorority for 35 years.  She had many lifelong friends in the Oroville area.  She was also a member of the Military Vehicles Collector’s Club (MVCC) of Northern CA.

Lillian was preceded in death by her two brothers, George Pattison of Willows, Ed Pattison of Oroville and her sister Ellen Chenoweth of Fairfield, CA.  She is survived by her four children, Richard Smith (Pam), Ty Smith, and Linn Koch (Scott), while married to William “Bill” Smith of Oroville, and Mickey Kelley (Tina), while married to Michael J. Kelley of Olathe, Kansas.  And her three grandchildren Jennifer Smith of San Francisco, CA, Katlinn Koch of Oroville, CA and Amanda Kelley of Las Vegas, NV.
