Obituary of Sandra Faye-Nichole Comer

Sandra Faye-Nichole Comer passed away on Wednesday August 10, 2022 at the age of 39. Sandra who went by Sandie was born on June 10, 1983, she grew up in Oroville, CA, graduated from Oroville High School in 2001 and went on to work in the business office at Oroville Hospital.  She was a proud union representative of United Steel Workers local 9600 and a fierce advocate for her coworker’s rights.

Sandie married Chris Comer on May 29, 2009 at the age of 26. They have four beautiful children Jillianne Comer age 19, Connor Black age 18, Lily Comer age 16 and Lexi Comer age 11.

Sandie lived a full life, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved to decorate for fall, Halloween and Christmas. She shared numerous inside jokes with everyone she knew. She had a slight obsession with Charlie Hunnam who played Jax Teller from the Television show Sons of Anarchy, which by the way Charlie is unable to be here today but sends his condolences. He is currently hiding in his home consumed with grief.

Sandie enjoyed daily Dutch Bros runs and shopping with her daughters, riding quads with her husband Chris and family. She enjoyed hosting 4th of July parties, Super bowl parties and always had at least 6 kids in the house. The Comer house or Comer Manor as Sandie called it was the hang out house for her kids and their friends. She always treated any kid that came over as her own.

Sandie is survived by her husband Chris, their 4 children Jillianne, Connor, Lily and Lexi, Grandma Sandra Gearhardt, her brother Josh Hinkle, Aunt Cindi Comer, along with nephew's, nieces and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandfather Dee Gearhardt, and Aunt Candi Peterson.

Sandie was a beautiful soul who has left this world a better place. She will be deeply missed and we will always carry her with us.

Her farewell service will be held at 2:30pm Saturday August 27, 2022 at the Oroville Eagles.
