Obituary of Sandra Lee Da Silva

Her Legacy....Sandy was born on April 9, 1940 in Crescent City, California to William and Edna Owen. Where later she resided with her husband Al in Fairfax, California until moving to Oroville in 1977. Sandy graduated from San Rafael High School in 1958. She worked as a secretary for State Farm Insurance for many years. Sandy loved her garden and spent many hours taking care of her beautiful flowers. Sandy was a San Francisco 49er faithful and had season tickets going all the way back to Kezar Stadium. She also loved the San Francisco Giants. Sandy and her husband Al would host numerous game day parties to root on their team, with her house full of family and friends, and of course her amazing food that she would prepare for all. Sandy loved the outdoors and spent many days adventuring around with her family. Sandy loved her dogs and cats and has had many special memories with each of them.

Her Family...Sandy is survived by her loving husband Alvaro H.E. Da Silva of 64 years. Her son's Brent Da Silva of Sacramento and Bradley Da Silva and his wife Ashley Da Silva of Oroville, and her daughter Cynthia Jones and her husband Lonnie Jones of Oroville. Sandy has six grandchildren, Dustin Da Silva, Jessica Da Silva, Lonnie Jones Jr., and his wife Julie Jones, Kayla Jones, Chadd Da Silva and Trent Da Silva. Sandy has three great-grandchildren, Jameson Jones, Lawrence Thompson, III and Jaxson Jones. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy! Never missing one of their sporting events or activities that were going on, she was their number one cheerleader.

Her Farewell Service...A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday August 4, 2022 at 1:00pm at Feather Falls Casino and Lodge. Previous arrangements shall be made for out-of-town guests.
