Kennith Ray Smith
His Legacy… Kennith was born on January 11, 1927 in Durant Oklahoma to Clarence & Rena Smith. He was raised on a farm with five sisters & brothers. Kennith served his country during two wars in the U. S. Army. He was a member of the Chickasaw Tribe. He loved living in Oroville for the past 24 years. He loved to bowl, play dominos and solitary and play the guitar. Kennith worked in the roofing business for 50 years. He loved to build picture frames and potato boxes for his family. He enjoyed working in his yard and going to the casino. Kennith was known for being supportive to his famiy and friends.
His Family…included his daughters Marla Shaw, Linda Goodbar, Marie Robinson, and Lucretia Gray, his sons Randy Smith and Kenny Smith and his sister Pat Black. He also had 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. His wife Barbara and sisters Gladys & Golden and brothers Floyd & Jr. all preceded him in death.
His Farewell…visitation will be held on Monday, June 6, 2016 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Funeral Service on Tuesday June 7, 2016 at 10:00 am at Oroville Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Oroville California.
