Obituary of Karen Michelle Neal

Karen Michelle Neal was born on April 28, 1967, in San Pablo, CA to Wilburn and Cleda Cooper. She married Gary Neal in 1990 and had three children, Alex, Michelle, and Rachel. She devoted her life to raising her three children and taught them the importance of putting family first, living in the moment, treating everyone with kindness, and how to love unconditionally. She was incredibly strong, and she will always be remembered for her selflessness and generosity to the people around her. Karen and her husband Gary shared a love for gardening and would grow a beautiful and bountiful garden in the summertime. She enjoyed going for drives, listening to music, being in nature, and spending quality time with the people she loved most: her family. One of Karen’s favorite places to go was the ocean and would often take trips to Fort Bragg with her family. She was determined and never failed to make birthdays and holidays special for the people she loved. She was the glue that held everyone together. Karen was a devoted Christian and shared her love for Jesus with the people around her. The power of Christ gave her the strength and peace to get through even her toughest days. She believed that God always had a plan bigger and better than any of us could ever imagine. With that, she trusted Him wholeheartedly. We will always carry Karen’s memory in our hearts. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 22, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Gridley-Block Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in the Gridley Biggs cemetery.
