Obituary of Cleo Christine Richins

Cleo Christine Richins, of Gridley, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2022, at the age of 91. She was born July 30, 1930, in Live Oak, California, to Daniel Elbertson and Lilly Mae (Baker) Elbertson. Cleo was married to her loving husband, Melvin Richins for 75 years. Cleo truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; camping and fishing, going on cruises, and spending time with family. She is survived by her husband, Melvin; a sister, Patricia Vines; daughter, Christine Michelet (Raymond); 7 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Cleo was preceded in death by her mother and father; son, Thomas Richins; and daughter, Joanne Skaggs. Family, friends, and others whose lives Cleo touched are invited to the Gridley Biggs Cemetery, at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 4, 2022. A reception will follow at the Gridley Moose Lodge.
