Obituary of Jeri Arthur Lewis

Jeri Arthur Lewis, 85, of Gridley, California, passed away on February 5, 2022 with his Wife Lisbeth Lewis by his side. Jeri was born to parents Don and Nona Lewis, on November 25, 1936, in Gridley, California. Jeri graduated from Gridley High School, after graduation he drove truck for Bill Cushman and Shifflet Brothers Trucking before he became an Owner/Operator of Jeri Lewis Trucking. Jeri married Maxine Welch in 1958 and they were together until her death in 1992. Jeri found love again when he married Lisbeth A. Harr in 1995 and they were together until his death. Jeri is survived by Wife Lisbeth, Sisters Sheri Kimbrough and Janet Fortney, Brother Roger Lewis, Sons, Sam Lewis and Wife Donna, Duane Elrod, Kevin Elrod and Wife Janet, Rodney Harr and Wife Becky, Thom Harr and Wife Kasey, grandchildren Kyle Lewis, Josh Elrod, Jenna Moffitt, Duane Elrod Jr, Bill Elrod, Diana Elrod, Shane Elrod, Eric Elrod, Brenden Harr, TJ Harr, Nate Harr, Telu Fuller, Aden Harr and numerous great-grandchildren. Jeri was predeceased by parents Don and Nona Lewis, Wife Maxine Lewis, Brother Don Lewis Jr, Son’s Jeri Lewis Jr, Richard Elrod, Randy Elrod and Grandson Austin Harr. Jeri was known for his love of fishing, he spent many hours on Lake Oroville, Bucks Lake, the Feather and Sacramento River fishing. He also was an avid NASCAR, Rodeo and Oregon Ducks Fan. The only thing he loved more than fishing was spending time with family and friends, he will be remembered for his sense of humor and kind heart. Graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at 10 a.m. at the Gazebo in the Gridley Biggs Cemetery, a celebration of life will follow at the Gridley Moose Lodge from 12:00 to 3:00.
