Obituary of Michelle Yvonne Casilla

Michelle Yvonne Casilla was born on September 2nd 1958 in Los Angeles CA to Mary and Earnest Barlow. Michelle passed away January 29th 2022 in Oroville CA. Michelle was an exceptional individual highly educated, a published author, and a proud mother of three and grandmother of nine. Michelle achieved her educational goals through Butte College in Oroville CA where she obtained 3 associates degrees. She pursued her dream of a Bachelor's degree in Sociology at UC Davis. Michelle worked for various communities in Social Services as a social worker. Where she strived to protect children and families. Michelle believed in keeping families together and assisting them as best as she could. Michelle enjoyed creating and published her first book in 2014 the Wizard Princess: Mixed Blood Chronicles. Michelle was a loving Daughter, Sister, mother and grandmother and will be missed tremendously. Michelle is survived by her mother Mary Barlow of Oroville CA; her sister Gorgianna Klippart of Paragonah Utah with her husband Christopher Klippert, children Caleb and Alyssa ; Daughter Mary Catherine Casilla married to Michael Preston along with their children Jillianna, Joshua, Jenevieve, Johanna and Madison; Daughter Mehgan Elizabeth Casilla and her husband Ronald Hudson along with their children Lilly and Lucia; and her Son Robert Anthony Casilla Jr his wife Katherine and their children Katrina and Katlynn. Michelle is preceded in death by her father Ernest Royce Barlow, her brother Gene Patrick Barlow along with the love of her life Robert Anthony Casilla Sr. Michelle’s rosary is scheduled for 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Wednesday February 9th 2022 at the Ramsey Funeral Home located at 1175 Robinson St in Oroville CA. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday February 10th 2022 at St. Thomas the apostle Catholic Church located at 1330 Birdbird St Oroville CA.
