Obituary of Hayden Teal Graves

Hayden Teal Graves, age 19, of Live Oak, passed over on November 8, 2021, in an automobile accident. Hayden was born in Yuba City on October 8, 2002. Hayden resided in Live Oak with his mom. Hayden attended school in Live Oak and graduated from Live Oak High School in 2020. Hayden is survived by his mom, Kathy Harwood-Graves; brother, Henry Graves of Camarillo; stepfather, David Austin of Mountain Ranch; grandparents, John and Dorothy Heenan of Live Oak; uncles, Kent (Dawnita) Harwood of Live Oak, Craig (Adrienne) Harwood of Chico, Bradley (Cara) Harwood of Live Oak, Mel (Gale) Padgett of Turlock. Hayden had many cousins whom he loved and who loved him, David Padgett of Turlock, Michael Padgett of Turlock, Joshua (Cecelli) Harwood of Germany, Curtis (Sarah) Harwood of Oregon, Steven Harwood of Marysville, Mathew Harwood of live Oak, Joslyn Harwood of Live Oak, Makenzie Harwood of live Oak, Skyler Harwood of Oregon, and Riley Harwood of Oregon. Hayden was loved by an enormous extended family who he loved, traveled with, and celebrated holidays. Jack (Shelby) Little, Jonas Little, Hannah Allen, Daniella Little, Priscilla little, Laura Little and Bob Hall. Hayden was blessed with amazingly loyal and true friends. These young men were a family unto themselves. Cracking each other up, of course playing video games, caring for each other, listening to each other and carrying each other's burdens and worries. To Jakob, Jaz, Randy, Bailey, and Mikey, know that Hayden spent time with the people he wanted to spend time with. His friends were of the upmost importance to him. You have been a blessed source of comfort for his family, and we are eternally grateful. Hayden's family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks during this most difficult time to their church family at Calvary Chapel Gridley. To their friends and neighbors who have reached out with loving care and kindness. It has meant the world to us. Finally, to Sonia, Brandon, Danielle, David, and Jakob. Our second family. Thank you for taking so much off our shoulders and making yourselves available during our darkest moments. Hayden was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Gordon and Melara Padgett; and Winston and Helen Harwood. The service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 20th, 2021, at Calvary Chapel Gridley, 210 Park St., Gridley, CA. The family welcomes everyone who knew and loved Hayden and wants to show support for his family. And while it will be hard, there will be a time made during the service for those who wish to share. Please join us after the service for one of Hayden's favorite meals and to give his mom and brother a hug. Arrangements entrusted to Gridley-Block Funeral Chapel.
