Obituary of Eugene Francis Perry

A mass of Christian burial will be held for Eugene F. Perry, 78 of Biggs on November 4, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Eugene passed away Wednesday October 27, 2021. He was born on April 19, 1943, one of four children born to Gabriel and Mary Perry, in Gridley, California. He was a lifelong resident of Biggs, having worked many years for the City of Biggs maintenance department. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, taxidermy and watching his children and grandchildren in all their various activities. He was a lifelong member of the NRA, and North American Hunting Club, he was also a member of the California Deer Association, Gridley Sportsman’s club, a hunter safety course coordinator and a member of the Holy Trinity association and Sacred Heart Catholic church. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister Dorothy Steeves. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Marcia Perry of Biggs, his daughter Lisa (Fred) Knoles of Carmichael, CA, his son Jason (Deidra) Perry of Gridley, 3 grandchildren, Gabriel (Vivica) Perry of Utah, Jordan Perry, and Taylor Perry of Gridley, his sister Arlene (Richard) Grein, and his brother John Perry all of Biggs, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family suggests contributions in Eugene’s honor to the American Diabetes Association. A visitation for Eugene will be from 5-7 p.m. at Gridley-Block Funeral Chapel on November 3, 2021, with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to Gridley-Block Funeral Chapel.
