Obituary of Lynne Arden Gould

Her Legacy… Lynne Arden Gould was born on October 18, 1935, in Santa Barbara, California to John and Ella Louise (Eloise) Harrison. Lynne went home to be with the Lord on October 9, 2021. She was 85 years old. She married the love of her life, Tom Gould. Lynne said it was love at first sight, and they spent 57 beautiful years together. They loved to spend their time camping, exploring new places together, and visiting the Mendocino coast. The love birds frequently enjoyed a dinner and movie date night. Lynne retired from Butte County Office of Education after many dedicated years. Lynne cherished spending time surrounded by her loved ones. She enjoyed crafts, puzzles, and all things purple. Lynne was a devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was fascinated by learning about her family history through her genealogy research and helping others discover their family tree. Lynne lit up a room with her smile and had a heart of pure gold. Her Family… … Lynne is preceded in death by her loving husband Tom Gould; her mother and father; her sister Sherrill Sweeney and stepdaughters Shelly Dustin and Sandra Clark. Lynne is survived by her loving children Laura Anderson, Dennis Gould, Beth Duckett, and Sharon Clark; her ten grandchildren, Shannon, Jordan, Devin, Amber, Angela, Janee, Cara, Tatum, Jeremy, and Billy; her fourteen great grandchildren Vivian, Willow, Rae, Maurice, Brooklyn, Evelyn, Ashton, Caleb, Tyler, Ella, Amador, Samantha, Breann, and Taylor. Her Farewell Service… Her Funeral will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2021, at 10:00 AM at the LDS Church 2390 Monte Vista Ave, Oroville, CA with Burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5646 Lincoln Blvd Oroville, CA.
