Obituary of Dolores May Keena

Dolores May Keena went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, September 22, 2021. She was a loving Mother and Wife. Dolores was a retired teacher of 36 years between Pasadena and Thermalito School District and a foster Grandparent for seven years at Helen Wilcox Elementary. She was an active member of the retired teachers association. Dolores was also an active member of the Nazarene Church and helped run the compassionate ministries there as well as being involved in running one of the prayer chains. She was a humble Saint and Prayer Warrior of the Lord. She loved gardening, her kitty fluffball and dog Chloe who preceded her in death. She was loved by man, she was kind, generous and always willing to lend a helping hand. She leaves behind her Husband of 61 years, Earl Keena. Her two Daughters Melody Keena and Carol Cole. Her two Sons, James Keena and Dennis Keena. Many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren some of which are listed. Grandchildren; Aaron Keena, Shannon Shrock, Lyndsey Dwight, Cathy Keena, Harmony Cole, Robert E. Cole, Destiny Cole, Roxanne Schlemmer and Matt Stanfill. Great Grandchildren; Fleur Zeke, Dawson, Drew, Annabelle, Conrad, LaNae, Maya, Carmen, Jett and Trenton. She also loved and considered many others her Grandchildren through Foster Care. Some of which are Carolyn, Monica, and Ashley Jackson, Trisha and April Conner and many others who her daughter Carol and her husband, Robert loved and fostered. A visitation will be held on September 30, 2021 at Oroville Funeral Home 1454 Montgomery St. Oroville CA 95965 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm. Her funeral service will be held at Oroville Funeral Home on Friday October 1, 2021 at 11:30am with burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery 5646 Lincoln Blvd. Oroville CA 95966.
