Obituary of Seng Chiam Saephanh

Seng Chiam was born in Nam Tha Ndoqv Hlen Laangx (riverside village) in Laos. After the Secret War ended and the communist forces took over, Seng Chiam and his family had to escape to Thailand settling in different refugee camps. In 1985, he traveled to the U.S. with his family to start a better life. He settled in Sacramento, CA and bought a home in Gridley, CA in 2001. In his younger days, he loved to play volleyball and sepak takraw (kick volleyball). He enjoyed the outdoors like fishing, hunting, and camping. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was well respected, loved, and will always be remembered. He is survived by his wife Mey Choy Saechao, his 7 children: Tawn Vang Saephanh, Nai Vang Saephan, Farm Vang Saephan, A Vang Saephan, Lai Vang Phan, Clinton Phan, and Kao Nai Saeteurn, 5 grandchildren: Tyler Saephanh, Tatyana Saephanh, Alisiana Saephanh, Damien Saechou, and Ava Saechou, and 2 fur grandchildren: Lexi and Enzo. Arrangements entrusted to Gridley-Block Funeral Chapel.
