Bruce Clinton Johnson Sr His Legacy… Bruce Clinton Johnson was born on June 2, 1924 in Pomerene, Arizona to Benjamin Franklin Johnson and Sarah Cecilia Sabin. Bruce passed away on April 9, 2016 in Placerville, California at the age of 91. He served in the Pacific during World War II in the signal corps. He fought in 4 campaigns and received a purple heart. He returned home after the war and married Anna Louise Matthews on April 10, 1947 in Mesa Arizona. Bruce enjoyed electronics, gardening, woodworking, ham radio, and auto mechanics. He worked hard, allowing Anna to be a stay at home mom. Bruce and Anna shared their love of the gospel of Jesus Christ with their children and raised them in the church. His family will greatly miss him. His Family… Bruce is survived by his brother, Lyle, sisters, Letha and Cora Mae; and children, Bruce, Juline, Jerry, Larue, Patricia, James, David, Donald, and Cecilia (deceased). He has 33 grandchildren and 62 great grandchildren scattered around the country and over seas. His Farewell Service… His Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday April 20, 2016 with a viewing at 10:00am and his service at 11:00am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 167 Table Mountain Blvd. Arrangements are entrusted to Ramsey Funeral Home 530 534-3877.
