Obituary of Maxine Renae Riley

Maxine Renae Riley was born in June 16th 1949 in Weed, CA to John Henry Dixon and Ethel Mae Wilson. Maxine attended Las Plumas High School in Oroville, CA. She married Johnny Ray Bradford Sr. and they raised three amazing sons Johnny, Orlando and James. Maxine worked for pacific coast producers for 25 years. She loved attending her grandchildren and great grandchildren’s sporting events and programs. She also enjoyed fishing, cooking and shopping. She was an amazing mother, sister, daughter, nana, great nana and friend. She found the good in everyone and she was always the life of the party. Maxine was preceded in death by her Husband- Johnny Ray Bradford Sr., her Mother, Ethel Mae Wilson (Self) her Father- John Henry Dixon, her Step Father- James Self, her Brother- Edward Dejan, her Sisters- Lou Ertis Dixon Barnes, Bobbie Nell Dixon , J. Celestine Dixon & Sandra K. Dixon. Maxine is survived by three amazing sons Johnny Bradford (Carrie), Orlando Bradford, James Bradford, and her Brothers: John Dixon Jr. (Donna), Robert Lee (Diane), David Dixon, her Sisters: Janice Dixon, Linda Dixon-Hicks (Edison), Valarie Merical (Randy), Kayla Dixon, Margret Dejan (Sister-in-law). She is also survived by numerous Grandchildren & Great grandchildren, Nieces, nephews and cousins. The world changes from year to year, our life’s from day to day but the love and memory we have for Maxine will never fade away. We think of you with love today But that is nothing new We thought about you yesterday And days before that to We think of you in silence and often Speak your name All we have are memories And your picture in a frame Your memories is our keepsake With which we’ll never part God has you in his keeping We have you in our heart. Her Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 11:00 AM at South Side Community Center, 2959 Lower Wyandotte Road, Oroville, California. Arrangements are entrusted to Ramsey Funeral Home 530-534-3877.
