For all our family members:
The Michael, that we all knew, was way more, than he left behind.... He may be Gone, but he will, Never Be Forgotten. May his eternal soul , rest in Gods Hands.
May he walk among God's Angels, whom have all left before us. And those who carried him through.
I pray, to see him again one day.
We all know, that we don't get to choose our time on this earth, God does. All i know, is that i am having a very difficult time with this loss.
I can only imagine how others may feel as well..
Speaking as his mother:
My son, was a great man, in all things he did.
And that's not to say, he didn't mess up in life.
It just means,.... In All things, he did them greatly..... Even when he messed up. But mostly when he remembered his heart, & shared his life with others.... Including me.
Michael , was our " Fix it man!" He could really fix, just about anything, given the right things to work with. From broken things, to broken relationships, to broken people. Michael, always felt he could " help fix, " whatever might be the problem. No matter whom he was helping. And, most of the time, he could always do, just that. And always leave you, with a smile on your face, Because he loved to see, & hear others laugh as well.
Michael was very small when he was born, ( I can remember, he asked me for years, " mom? Will I ever grow bigger?" I would just tell him... " yes son, when its time for you to grow, you will probably get very much bigger!") And yes, he grew into, a great man , to me, and to a lot of other people as well.... even a man, of Gods Word... At one point in his life.
He knew his Bible, inside and out. Also preformed my daughter, Alicia's, wedding ceremony. It was a very beautiful service.
Michael was more to all of us, than ever can be explained.
I'm very sorry, that circumstances took him from us. And wanted to send my condolences, to the loss in each persons life that he touched. May your memories be good, & your grieving be short. And your healing be fast.
Mike would not want us, to be sad for him. He would want us to " Rejoice in his Salvation, & in his Life"
Our last conversation, ( with fishing poles in hand, by the banks of the river in Cali.)
Mike said" Mom? Do you think we can do this more often? No one ever stayed with me, all night, till morning, waiting for a fish. Much less, someone who could untangle their own line!" with his little laugh, right behind it.
And I laughed too, & said " of course son, where would you like to go fishing , next?" He said.... " Arkansas, Heber Spring. I love it there." I said.... " Me too son, lets do it." He said,... " Yes, lets do it."
And we continued to watch the sunrise. Marveling in God's Glorious presentation.
It was a very memorable day.... For myself, & my son. I pray, each and every person, has memories like mine, so your loss is not so great. Only God can help us heal, from what he has taken from our lives. May Jesus walk side by side with each of you, & carry you if necessary.
I know he has always done this for me, you only have to ask him.
My apologies too, that I could not attend his funeral service. God had other plans, I really tried. I drove all the way to new Mexico , from AR. Headed to CA. But unforeseen circumstances, prevented me from making it all the way. My condolences, to whom all feel his loss. I pray for each & every one.
May he rest in peace now, & his pain & worries, all be behind him. Forever in Gods Hands.
I love each of you very much. Especially my children, still among the living.... Shane &Alicia... Never forget, I love you until my last breathe, & heartbeat. And then I love you when I too get to join Michael, & all whom we have lost, in Heaven for Eternity.
Forever Faithful, & Unconditional Love, Mom/ Gramma Tina.
