My son grew up with some of the Gaston boys! Jeremy, Joe, Josh, Chris.... they all have a special place in my heart. Jeremy and my son, Anthony, have been friends since kindergarten! Jeremy was like a second son to us and he went everywhere with us.
Whenever we would come by the house to pick him up, his big brother, Anthony, would always come out to the car. He would get our name, address and phone number, and tell us when to have Jeremy back home. I know he wouldn’t remember us, but whenever I’d see him around town, I’d think to myself, “there’s Jeremy’s brother Anthony”. He took on that big brother role so well, looking after the younger boys still at home. It always gave us a smile to know he was doing what big brothers are suppose to do.
Sometimes you don’t know who you’ve touched in life, who’s thinking of you, or who has a fond memory of you. I want the Gaston family to know that our family has been touched by your family in many ways. When we heard your son, your brother, Anthony and his children were involved in this tragic accident , we cried with you. Our hearts broke with yours. We are very sorry for your loss. The Gaston’s will always be in our hearts and we will remember your son Anthony!!!
